Dufferin Area Christian School of Laurel Ontario wins digital piano.

Dufferin Area Christian School, 394016 County Road, in Laurel is the proud owner of a new digital piano. It recently entered Pianohouse Burlington’s Digital Piano Give-away Contest and won the grand prize for the month of June.

Established in 1995, Pianohouse Burlington, Canada’s Piano Superstore, specializes in pianos only, and offers a large selection of quality new and used upright and grand pianos of all well known brand names. Recently Pianohouse obtained the dealership of the respectable Young Chang pianos. In digital pianos they became the authorized dealer of Adagio, Suzuki and Kurzweil.

In celebration of its 15th anniversary Pianohouse Burlington is giving away one digital piano each month throughout 2011 by conducting a contest, open to all elementary and high schools in Canada. The Pianohouse team, represented by Wijnand Doorn, Joe Pimentel and Paula Bosman, is pleased to announce that so far schools in Fergus, Mississauga, Toronto, London and Hamilton have been the excited winners of this piano contest.

Dufferin Area Chr.School participated in the contest for several months and not giving up resulted in obtaining most votes for the month of June and winning the free piano of that month. Principal Keith Sikkema of Grand Valley was thrilled when he received the phone call with the good news from Pianohouse. He didn’t wait long to drive to Burlington, accompanied by his daughter, to pick up the new piano for the school. While at Pianohouse they tried out their new digital piano.

There are still 6 pianos to give away! To participate please register your school at the www.pianos.ca website. Once your school is registered anyone can vote for it.

The school receiving the most votes at the end of the month will be the winner.
